Little Eagles Scholarship Fund

The new non-profit Little Eagles Childcare Center is now open and serving the families of young children in the Tower-Soudan area with high quality, state-licensed care within the Tower Elementary School. We provide fully trained staff, federally-approved meals, and a curriculum focused on learning through play. It is the only licensed childcare currently available in Tower or Soudan.

The Little Eagles center is a great opportunity for preschool-age children in the area. Unfortunately, many families are unable to afford the cost of childcare and that's putting the center's start-up at risk. While many center families may eventually qualify for scholarships, the center will need to be open for at least six months before the state-funded scholarships are available. In the meantime, the  Tower-Soudan Community Development Corporation (a 501c3 non-profit which oversees the childcare center) is seeking donations to immediately establish an interim scholarship fund that will enable more children in the community to attend the new center and help generate needed enrollments to ensure the center can continue to operate. 

Donations to our scholarship fund will help to buy down, on a sliding scale (based on income), a portion of the weekly childcare fees for families. That will make it possible for more Tower-Soudan families to benefit from the center and help ensure that the center start-up is successful.
